Since I'm sick of the noise, and the surge, from the cheap china (the lowercase c is on purpose) SQV wannabe BOV I have, I want to replace it.

I assume proper HKS BOVs fit the flange, but I still feel they're a bit too noisy for me, and I want something a little less chinky. Although, I will get one if I don't have any other options, and just remove the Merc-style star in the outlet. I hear it's sufficient to remove the *****.

What other BOVs fit the flange?
Since I have mild steel IC piping, getting flanges to replace the one I have is a bitch, and to be honest I can't be bothered to weld on a new one.
So what are my options?

 

A genuine HKS SSQV starts at $450 in Norway.
I found one for $60 on Ebay, including shipping. (HKS SSQV2)
