he has the rfl it will flow it the setting or spring he has in it just sucks for how much psi he is running

This is on normal upshifts, partial throttle lifts, etc. Part throttle is bad surging but sometimes it vents. 12+ is a high pitched whoosh from the filter, which I'm assuming is also surge, but it is not the turkey call flutter I've heard before.

My mistake, I thought upshift and wrote downshift (where you're typically making no boost), shouldn't surge there.

On the upshift you can be at full boost when you lift off the throttle and abruptly stop airflow, which surges if not vented.

Ah, k I see what you mean now.

I took the EBC off and its still doing it at 7 psi. Time to start the list for a bunch of parts.
