They can run surprisingly well. We had my friend's 1.6 running decently with 1.8 injectors, doodoo box, and an MSD timing box around 8psi. He got it cheap with all the turbo stuff already on it, but stock injectors and a stock clutch. PO was trying to run 14lbs of boost like that, but lost his license before he could drive it enough to kill it.

It had a weird hand off between boost and no boost though. Going to an ECU and proper injectors made a huge difference though. Thing runs like it it was factory.

The car run pretty good. I was very surprised for the stock ecu. My plain isn’t to run the stock ecu forever I just don’t have the cash for it right now. This is just a start to my car. Thanks to everyone for looking at it at a plus side lol.
