I guess some of you didn't know that I already had an E30 back in california and opted to sell it rather than ship it. it was a clean white 5 speed 4 door just like I want (again). I'd rather not buy and ship another one. parts maybe.

gospeed: I'm from california. we're born with the innate ability to R&R a turbo system every two years. And it's the same here. I just have to swap the racing beat full exhaust for the turbo goodies and swap out the fuel rail and injectors (I have the stock clips hanging in the engine bay) as well as pull the intake stuff and swap back the stock tube (which I still have).

I will probably leave the car as a 'modded N/A' since I don't have spare shocks and wont be pulling the flywheel for the time being. I might remove the gauges though.

everything else should be pretty cake.

Why not see what you can get as a turn key? At least test the waters. Or better yet, come to your senses.

Because then I can not buy all the parts off of it for cheap.

Good point. However, you may have the perfect combination for that someone special.

I'm completely E30 ignorant. What is so special about them? Bullet proof engines/drivetrains or something? A friend had a 320i years ago and it was too heavy and slow to get out of its own way most of the time.

y8s sucks. First he moves to the east coast and never moves back, then he sells his turbo.

All right, you still suck though because you won't move back.

Jason just wants you to move back so he can buy your Miata turbo bits without having to pay cross-country shipping.

I have a buddy with an S54 swapped 5-speed e30 that's gutted with a cage and 6ULs and its fast fast fast. The aero helps too.
