Question Injectors

Hi all, i cant afford a MS as of right now but i want to upgrade the injectors. not seriously upgrade but just enough for that little extra power. im thinking a set of 1.8 injectors would be sufficient. it has the stock ecu, MSD boost retard box, vortech fmu, on a greddy kit.

Will do $50 shipped. Should you don't want the 335cc? Your just going to replace the 240cc at some point with bigger injectors.

Sorry i will go in to more detail, 335cc is the biggest you can run on the stock ecu with or without a piggy back. The deatschwerks 335cc are made for tdr and only sold through them for thier supercharger kits. I made 240whp at 10.8psi with a 190 fuel pump. They have less miles then the 99s. Something to the tune of sub 10k and 6 track days.

The fuel pump is a must, and now that you are there take care of the fuel filter, then loosen the AFM a few clicks, adjust with your afpr, colder plugs / gap, etc.

BEFORE, you install any used injectors get them cleaned and calibrated.

Not to spam, but I have taken mine twice to injector-rehab.com, usually is a week to get them back. Besides the flow bench testing, they install new filter screens and o-rings.

I found it easiest to use a large philips head placed point down in that open hole next to the gear, then rotate the philips while prying the catch spring off the gear the philips meshes with the teeth on the gear allowing you to turn the gear very slowly. Loosening the spring will make the car run richer tightening will make it run leaner, with a wideband you could prolly get decent results.
Also if you are using a stock afm i would upgrade ot either an rx7 unit or a v6 toyota camary afm, i have tried both and the camary unit definatly seems to idle better and does not have a lean dip in the middle of my power band like the rx7 unit did. Both units were junkyard finds so no telling if the rx7 one was faulty or not.
