tell you guys what.... my rx7 460's are noisy as hell!...... Anyone else have this problem?????

 

only on other cars how noisy. like tapping pencil or tapping hamer worse tan HLAs?

 

like a tapping ballpoint pen actually..... noisy but not as bad as significant lifter tick or anything

Just wanting to know if I should be worried... or if it's a normal annoyance?

 

they might be dirty but i doubt they will totally fail my nissans injectors do that when they get hot but they do have 177K miles on them

 

Mine are noisy too. I think all RX-7 injectors seem to be that way. We rebuilt my friends TTRX engine this spring and when we fired it up the first time we were listening for every sound and thought it was something internal. Turns out it was just his injectors. Of course he runs 850cc and 1150cc though!

 

Ya me and a friend both have RX7 injectors, 550 and 440 respectively, and they've added a new sound to both our cars. I don't even notice anymore. It's just a quick ticking sound. If anybody asks you can proudly say its your huge injectors.

 

yeah, I'll proclaim that it's my MAD TYTE INJECTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they work just fine (at least according to my hydra...) so I'm not that worried.... especially now that others say they have noticed the same thing...
