Just looks big. I run the same on my daily as do a bunch of others on here core is 18x12x3.

Splittime has the sick setup and definitely wins for shortest piping.

Psh, 20x12x3 core and I have A/C. Short pipes. And I hide the IC while I was at it. Beat that.

Why not go with a traditional FMIC, and an oil cooler in the hole you cut?

Edit: I just looked again, and that is a ridiculously huge hole you cut there. You really need to fill that whole thing with a FMIC or it will look stupid. Use one of the side vents for an oil cooler .

Leather, search keyword Rx7...I know they make something like this:

15"x10"x3.25" core
21"x10"x3.25" overall

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...=p4506.c0.m245

with endtanks that point out the top...

off center FMIC FTL. Tim too.

If I had AC I'd probably use it 3-4 times a year. Like if I'm heading to a wedding or funeral and it's hot as ***** and/or raining. I couldn't warrant keeping it. We can just take one of the other cars for that.

Leather, this would probably work:

18"x11"x3" core
24x11"x3" overall

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...=p4506.c0.m245

same size as mine and paul's pictured....if you mount it high enough you shoudl have plenty of direct airflow to the rad through the mouth.

I've used it about 5 times this summer, and I appreciated every minute of it. It's also why I painted it black, I wouldn't like a shiny offset FMIC in there, it's more or less invisable, but hey I have some direct airflow to the rad still sucker.

the draw back is slightly slower spool, however my intake temps only see about a 10*F delta during a 4th gear pull.

The camera flash makes the intercooler shine from behind the condenser. With flash:

im lovin that oil cooler set up^^^^^ I bought my intercooler yesterday. After reading lots of threads and everyones input, i decided on the 15x7.5x4. Itll fit great in that opening and allow more air to pass through the rad. Ill be making a shroud for it as well as mounting an oil cooler below like the pic above. Pics of everything will be up as i progress. Thanks guys for the help
