I've hit a snag... what the hell!!!
All right, this is just blowing my mind here. I was under the impression that when you ordered a particular piece of intercooler material, whatever it be, IC or coupler or pipe or reducer or elbow or whatever... that when you said 2" or 2.5", everybody was on the same page, ie, any 2" coupler will connect to any 2" pipe. Well, check it out.
Pic 1 and 2: my IC dimensions are 1 7/8 ID and 2 1/4 OD.
Pic 3 and 4: The 2" couplers I bought will not fit the IC, but will fit the pipe.
Pic 5: The 2"-2.5" reducer and the 2"-2.5" 90* I bought have two different 2.5" dimensions. The 90* fits perfectly over the TB inlet which is what I bought it for, but is way to big for the IC.
The coupler reducer fits perfectly on the pipes and the IC.
So, what the hell!!! Nowhere in ad's I've bought this stuff from does it specify ID or OD for the products. I thought it was all the same!!! Now I've got $200 worth of pipe and couplers that won't fit on my $100 IC. What the hell do I do?

I like to keep my couplers all from one brand unless I absolutley have to just to avoid this type of stuff. If you need any couplers I have a few laying around that were extras from misc projects that I will let go really cheap.

Those are all good stuff. I've got about $300 in all this stuff and it just PISSES ME OFF!!!!!!!!!! You'd think there'd be an industry standard for this stuff. Well, lesson's learned.
Yup, in the future, I'll stick with one brand.
The wife hates it when I take her things to go work in the garage, but the hairdryer is on tap. I've got a tube of KY I keep on hand for this stuff, so that'll be in the mix. And it looks like the Dremel is going to put in a little overtime on Sat.
The whole setup is perfect except the IC. I wonder if I shouldn't just source another IC that comes with 2" ins/outs. The one I've got is perfect except for the 2.5" ins/outs.

push hard, it'll fit. Or if worse comes to worse, you could cut off the hump....but id try force first.
I have (1) 2.0" 90* coupler I could send down your way, but I'll measure the ID and see if it'll help you out at all.

Here's my seven page mega-thread.
https://www.miataturbo.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4455
Here's another IC thread where I've got lots of posts.
https://www.miataturbo.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4871
And I guess I spoke too soon about snags.
First: cold side and hot side all DONE. Not installed, but done. The pipes are ready to go in. I've still gotta tap for idle-air/bov/breather, but the engineering is done. All my **** fits perfect.
Second: I JUST DISCOVERED THE SAME CRAP **** POOP ID/OD PROBLEM WITH MY INTAKE PIPING. The turbo inlet is 2"... so I bought a 2"-2.5" coupler, a 2.5" 180* pipe bend, and 2.5"-3" coupler to mate to the RX7 MAF. It's supposed to look almost exactly like Braineaks: https://www.miataturbo.net/forums/vb...getimage&id=85
But the RX7 MAF is 3"ID and the coupler is 3"OD. Same with the 180* pipe... it's 2.5" ID, and the coupler is 2.5"OD.
And to top it all off, I've got some seriously mean farts.
WTF IS THE WORLD COMING TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
