Watch eBay. I just picked up an this t3 cold side 60/60 setup, looks like new, lots of stuffs.

Thought this was a good deal for a larger stage1 63AR turbine housing too. Supposedly the center section just needs a rebuild.

Damn, my turbo is a .78 hotside... But it's going on a 1.8. Do comparison vids! Before and after the turbo swap. That would be awesome to see the difference keeping everything else the same.

A .78 hotside on a t3? that's BIG.

Yeah, GT3271, twin scroll, externally gated. Bigger than what most run here.

I don't even think I'd want a .63 on my 1.8 let alone .78.
.63 would be ok for track duty but not normal street driving or autocross.

Nice Bryan, I have the same Garrett T3(42/48) turbo on a shelf in the garage. It has a cracked turbine housing that needs to be replaced. I was wondering what the spooling would be compared to my T3/4 .60/.48 hot side that I have now. I would be curious to know how you like it.

it'll spool up hella faster, but wont be able to output the same power.

you could just swap your coldside parts (wheel, housing, back plate) onto your hotside (turbine, chra, housing) of the current one.

a slight power drop wont really bother me, it hauls a ton of *** in over 2nd gear, but the spool up sucks for in town.

That looks pretty good, but what Turbine / Compressor?

I have a gateless T3 Turbine with .63ar and the compressor is a .60ar T04B S3 from Turbonetics, planning on using an external Turbonetics Deltagate mkII
