Easy there, buckaroo!
I am sure he can help you with your frame rail there, pardner. He's the quickest draw there is back east. They call him The Sawzall Kid...

Cant you use the EGT or Protege tranny in the festiva with a BP swap??

fastivab6tg25mr 05-10-2012 06:35 PM

i am using the BP EGT/protege tranny... i was using the older cable G series trannies from the 323GT/capri XR2. they all have the same internals except the cable trannies have a 3.85 final drive where the hydraulic trannies(protege/escortGT) have a 4.10. the kia sophias have a 4.35 and has the same case yet slightly slightly stronger than the pro/EGT.

18psi 05-19-2012 12:04 AM

did you air em down enough?

2.0 '60 on slicks is pretty weak.

matthewdesigns 06-13-2012 01:25 AM

Hmm, never seen one. Thanks. I guess there's really no easy way for that to fit on a Miata lol

fastivab6tg25mr 06-13-2012 01:30 AM

nope... goes the wrong way. but the manifold is pretty short so maybe a sharp u shaped coupler or something to that effect
