Oh and OP, your car is ------- badass. I love your tiny mexican steering wheel. Total sleeper until it stomps on your 50k+ dollar car.

18psi, well that's faster than mine lol. I'd like to see some numbers though...hopefully he can chime in. My ---- is slow to spool.

Fire, yeah I'm at 6000' here. My 2.0L Talon spooled the same turbo fully by about 3500rpm, and I knew the 1.6 would be slower to get the job done but it seems off even given the displacement difference. I'm not done dicking around with timing yet, so maybe I can cut some of the lag down.

he's got hundreds of logs, I'm sure he'll chime in.

but he's also 1.8 and at 0 elevation so I really don't think his logs can answer any questions for you

its hard to get accurate spool data cause it doest hold traction that well in 3rd. but i think its around 4k ish or just before

OK cool, thanks. Just discovered my wastegate was loose as ----, and was able to pick up some lost spool by repairing it. I'm not at 4K yet but much closer now.

peak boost ~14psi is around 3700 rpm

i started at 2000rpm in 4th gear. it wont hold traction enough to try it in 3rd
