This will be happening after our 24 hour Chumpcar race in May. We were waiting to see how we did at this February 11/12 Lemons race and since we came in 2nd, we are waiting until after the 24 hour straight race. If something fails miserably, then we can fix it overnight if at a 2 day race.

I find it very appropriate that Kurt revived this thread.

No. my feelings arent hurt. Just walking on eggshells. Dont want to get banned for getting "uppity". there is a lot of information here and a lot of decent members whose opinions I respect, so I would like to stay as long as possible, and that means eating .... sandwiches with a tip of my hat and a smile.

After the May race it will be done. That is an awesome find for the 200SX diff pump for an oil pump. The intake track will be made of 2" pvc and will be glorious.

You mean all that heat trapped in a small confined area was bad for it? Get outta here.

The way I will do it will have it up and in the air. All of the oil supply equipment will be in the trunk.

Just a quick one for this and I'm not resurrecting as its a statement.
The turboot on a 5 was first done by my friend and posted on here with mocking about spool time and other such unhelpfulness well over three years ago. His worked fine for road up until the oil line snagged on his drive and killed the turbo. He ran the oil from the engine which was clearly not the best solution although driving it was no more laggy than a Subaru.
As a project it's fun but the hole in the boot means no shopping after you have done it. Measure twice, cut once

Here is a very viable option for pumping oil. I discovered this at one of my customers today, and what I've seen is that it is used for oil, not coolant.
