turns out things go much faster when you're not fabricating so I have made some changes already. Pulled the valve cover and did some grinding of the channels on each side (only one in pic cuz other ended up blurry and its too late lol). I added two steel wool scrubbers, one on each side. I did not cut them at all so hopefully they will remain intact.
Then I plugged the tapped intake manifold hole I had just done and am using the stock vent ports as before. Dual -10 to the catch can then -12 to the intake with the second catch can in between. The second catch can is probably overkill but I already bought it and made a bracket for it so why not lol. I may remove it if there isn't enough vacuum but only time will tell. I'll fire it up this weekend, we're currently getting a spring snow storm.
Why not just run each of those 10ANs to their own VTA catch cans? If you end up pushing mad oil still, a lot of it is gonna wind up going through the intake and will lower your effective octane and cause carbon deposits over time.
Alright I'm back! Massive personal landscaping project that I'm working on has taken my full attention.
Took the steel wool out, it was not able to breathe at all. I'm sure I just packed it too tight but whatevs, I didn't want to put it on and off 2/3 times to figure out how much to use. She was smoking an insane amount and pushing oil out into the exhaust.

Honestly Z, thanks a ton for this suggestion. I wasn't going to do it this way but I started thinking and it made a lot of sense so thats exactly what I did. And I'm pleased to report that it works really really well! I have only driven it maybe 30-40 miles in the last couple weeks and I haven't noticed any smoke at idle or decel yet.
Made some new brackets and new AN lines and this is going to be the final version.
I also had a short with my lithium battery, which caused some damage to my ignition harness. New battery is in and new harness and we're back in action fully. I'm digging the paco strong arms, the car feels really firm. Almost feels like more of a difference than when I did the roll bar.
Future plans at this point:
try a track day this year
ring and pinion. 3.63 or maybe even a 3.3
wrap the car
get it on a dyno just to see what it makes
attend more cars and coffees and cruises
