Default Megasquirt Mounting

How have you mounted your megasquirt?

I want to use the stock location but didnt want to drill the new megasquirt to try and fit the stock brackets until I got some feedback.

I was thinking of attaching the PC cable and routing it into the glove box so its always there for easy access to plug into the laptop.

I made a bracket to hold my EMS in the passenger footwell. I have a DIY boomslang, so I was able to make the wires all exactly the correct length.

Last time I put it in the stock location it fuxord most of my wiring. Putting it back now as we speak, but with some padding I cut up from the carpet I pulled out. Should be nice and snug now.

Why hell didn't I think of Velcro. Haha. The harness is keeping mine in place.

I'll just place mine where my ecu is at now. I moved it from behind the seat to under the glove box. It's attached by velcro and small bunge cords.

It's uber good stuff from Radio Shack, one step up from name brand Velcro. Until the adhesive really sets, it will fail before the "velcro".

I was going to try and use the sock brackets and try and make them fit the MS. But I didnt fancy drilling the case of the MS incase I ruin it. I could put it on the padded matting and cable tie it in place but I liked the idea of the stock ecu been raised off the floor to allow airflow (Limited!).
