I know there are documented ways of using the TD05 turbine with the 16g compressor on an MSM motor.

I would like to know if there would be any benefits to using a 16g compressor with the stock IHI turbine, and if there would be anything I would need to look out for in doing so aside from rerouting of the IC piping. Creeping?

Any definitive info or critiquing from the pro's regarding this plan is welcome.

 

Do you mean the BNR turbo upgrades?

 

They do the TD05 with it from what I recall. I would like to avoid that, pick up a 16g, and cut out the middle man.

This way I can retain the stock manifold and exhaust system while keeping a near stock look.
