This is often mentioned as the point at which the stock igntion starts to give out on boosted Miatas. MSD Dis-2s are showing up on ebay now for what I'd consider very cheap. I picked one up for $125 and the wiring is relatively simple IMO. The older DIP switched unit like I have even has some extra features like rpm limiter for launch control. - rob
