It's custom welded on brackets, and 4 bolts. I guess a modified koyo radiator. the fan it's self is a koyo racing fan.

What are you doing for a PCV/breather setup setup? looks like you have an AN fitting there.

That picture is from the previous owner. I will most likely have my welder weld a bung on the valve cover and run a/n fittings to a firewall mounted catch can. But I don't think it will be a necessity for low boost.

At what boost level does a catch can become a necessity?

Is this your only car? Do you have to have it running at the end of spring break? Have you already installed the MS3x and gotten that working? From reading your posts here it really sounds like you have bitten off a large project, that will most likely end in some sort of failure.

This is not my only car, or else I could never attempt this. I am not working alone on this build. A buddy of mine that lives in NJ hes on here by the name of BTmiata will be guiding me since he has done this all before. Am i expecting a 100% success? Of course not, but I am hoping to get this thing running first try and I am hoping to get feedback both positive and negative from the senior members. (MS3x will be shipped out tom).

I would highly suggest splitting it in pieces and doing things in steps.

First install the MS and get it up and running in the car. Learn how to tune a bit and get comfortable.

Then swap in the VVT motor. Retune and get all the kinks worked out with that.

Then throw on turbo parts, and tune.

I only say this because there is a ton of things that can go wrong when you do it all at once. Is the motor not starting because of a hardware issue, or MS issue, and other things that come up.

Well my VVT swap is already in and working (w/o vvt of course) for about a year now. Car runs and starts everyday. I will be getting tuned by a professional tuner so I don't plan on trying to tune this car myself. I am deff not even close to being ready to tune my own car. That being said, the only issue Im worried about is will this turbo at 7psi blow my stock engine? I am going to be doing rods and pistons but thats probably going to be next winter. I know there is no magic number and everyone here says 220tq is a safe figure.

One thing he has going for him is that I literally just got my setup together in October... So I should be able to help him get this thing set up. I'm sure there are going to be hiccups, but like he said this is not his daily and I made sure to make him aware that no matter how much you plan and try to get everything set up perfect in one weekend, it very rarely ever works out to be like that. Hopefully any roadblocks that we come across, you guys will help us get through!

Hey BT, did you send those FM tools back (I forget). I think you already had. I just need to find them. Assembling motor this week and VVT head needs some seals

My engine bay is so dirty gotta get some degreaser and clean that bad boy up, just need to figure out the wiring diagram for the MS VVT controls and everything should start right up. Praying I dont run into any issues.

Can you show more pics on how you're routing your hotside charge piping? I'm running a different setup but am pretty limited unless I just throw the filter on the inlet. Just lookin for ideas.

Looks like one picture has it going into the fender area, the other is where all other kits run, interfering with where A/C would be

Well I'm not running A/C nor power steering but I wanted a stealthy way to route the intercooler piping from the hotside so its routed through the fender and tucked long the wheel well. Ill post more pictures after the welding is done.
