alright...here is the deal...I may be leaking oil from my rear main seal...its not a lot, but I can't find where its comming from so an engine rebuild may be in the future...either way, here is my dilemma: my A/C doesn't work...it never has since i've had the car...I'm trying to figure out if I should remove it or have someone who knows what they are looking at work on it. I just know I'd have a TON more room w/ out the A/C.

Mine was the same way. It hasn't worked since I bought the car three years ago, and heck, it's a roadster in southern PRC. I removed it at the very beginning of my tubro project, taking care not to damage anything and keep track of the nuts and bolts.
If you ever do decide to re-install, you'll need to buy a new receiver/drier (but you probably need that already) along with new O-rings, and it wouldn't hurt to have the lines, evap, and condensor flushed. That's about it.
For the moment, about all you'll need, assuming you have P/S, is a new belt. Different size for the ones without A/C.

Even with the RX-7 AFM and 1.8 injectors, you're going to need some kind of fuel management, presumably in the form of an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

thinking about the one by BEGI...it seems pretty well recommended..., unless there is another easy/quality one? I was asking more or less about the degree of tunability as well as ease of doing so.
