Sorry, I bought a beat up roof rack to transport my mountain bike and wanted to decorate it with biking stickers.

It sounds obnoxiously loud, uncomfortable, heavy.

Tip steps for your survival:

1. Put stock crap back on the miata

2. (same importance as 1) Buy a legitimate rollbar

3. Do a ton of research, toss your shitty setup and start over properly. All the info you need is on here, use it.

Sounds like you definitely put a lot into that CRX. While I don't think it's enough to relegate it to non-dd duty, you care about the car and if you live in so cal that means you need to protect it from all the insane people who drive like they've got nothing to lose.

Just buy your ms1 or PNP... Research and decide which one you want. In the meantime, keep driving the Miata but take it easy or just disconnect the waste gate actuator from the flapper and you'll get no boost. Or just blow it up.

Don't listen to these guys...
You need a Jackson racing m45 with a power card.
Custom license plate too that reads "drftking".
Do it...you won't.

Reason I didn't go turbo on the crx is the cramped engine bay and the fact that every damn honda in my town is turbo and I like the sleeper sound.

And she is none of the above. Its actually a very comfortable sporty ride. The exhaust is 2" with high flow cat, resonator, magnaflow muffler, and a resonator tip. And she tips the scales at 2100 lbs.

And to turbofan, thank you for your understanding. I do think I will put insurance back on her and try to drive her when the weather isn't too bad.

I'm going to have my dad's friend do a roll cage within the next few months, I'm starting to get paranoid even on the daily drive lol.

I will make a little note that I actually find it quite easy to drive with an 18-20 constant vacuum.

Lol @ crx with 2" exhaust and nawz. More was posted about the stereo than the "high performance".

Hey OP,

Look at this guy:

https://www.miataturbo.net/build-thr...ar-junk-71408/

He's new just like you. He's cheap just like you. Yet he managed to make his project cool and no one is flaming him.

Take notes.

TBH with all the time and money I have into this pieced together kit I wish I would have bought a kit like that. We learn from our mistakes though so it's time to move on.

Hey- good for you for trying to build your own kit.

I might recommend that you do one more thing to complete your comprehensive plan for MASTER boost DrifTr

Slide under the Miata and remove the oil pan drain bolt. wait until all of the black "boost fluid" drains out, and then turn up the boost with a 25 cent home built MBC.

This plan will speed up your plan to nuke that 200K engine.

Hey Drift
dont let these self proclaimed " geniuses " get to you. I pieced together a cheap turbo kit off ebay" as well. Although I used a megasquirtpnp from DIYautotune. Installed it on my 90 miata with 175000 miles. and it ran great for a year before the manifold cracked.. bought a solid cast unit and its worked great for the last 8 months. I use my car daily and commute 70 niles each way" mostly highway" my friend has a greedy kit on his and it runs smoother and has a wider powerband than mine. and his is a lot prettier...lol but this was my first and have less than $1400 in it "$800 was for the megasquirt"...so have fun with your car and upgrade as you can afford it..later

So we're telling him it will break, then you tell him " don't listen to them, I did the same thing and mine broke"

Are you retarded or just really stupid?

Oh and its GREDDY. G R E D D Y!!

The only thing that's greedy is you for pinching pennies on important car parts.

Thank you for providing absolutely no new information to this thread. You're running MS. That was our advice. "Don't listen to them, but do what they say".
