did you hook up both vacuum lines? even with booth hooked up my REAL greddy type-s would leak at idle, enough that I could feel it on my palm at idle, but not enough that I could idle without trouble. I ran it for about a month VTA without a check valve with no trouble or idle droop.

I'm using copper plumbing 45*s and heater hose.

Ebay.

I searched again to link to it, but I can't find it. "My Ebay" link is no longer valid because I bought it too long ago.

That's what i'm thinking. I'd much rather reroute it than filter though. Thanks

Stripes. That's ridiculously clean. Me like.

Damn, I post a lot

Both vacuum lines are hooked up. It does idle ok, it's not going to stall or anything. Question is, does it stop leaking under boost? Don't want to think about that unmetered air entering the system.

Sounds like it works temporarily, which is all I need. THANKS everyone.

If it leaks under boost it's going to push air out, so you'd be running rich not lean.

3/4" metal check valve from home depot. In the plumbing or water systems section.

I have a greddy type RS bov and I have it venting to the atmosphere and it doesn't leak nor does it idle drop.

Nice, cheap solution. I'll rock that until I get around to routing it.

That was it.

Unhooked and plugged the vacuum line from the manifold and the car idles perfectly. So, fellas, it leaks through the top, not the bottom, i.e. tightening the preload does nothing.
