Well at the time i was getting sick of my manifold cracking so i told him look make me the same manifold that way it doesn't crack it never came to mind to copy some one ealses design so i can sell it...i post up the pics so you guys can see how it came out and people liked it so they asked me if i can have one made for them...but that manifold was just for me for my set up cuz that was the only way my turbo could fit..but now people want one and my friend can make them any way they want it..

If you can sell that manifold for 500 with heat cycled flat flanges it will be a fair price as long as you will warranty the welding against defect and repair it if something fails. Add an external wastegate flange and you'll have a real deal.
I wouldn't plan to sell a ton of them though considering most of us don't have much money in our manifolds. Then there are Y8s, paul, splittime and BRG all of which have big money manifolds that beat the hell out of most everything else.
If you want to sell a bunch then make the price target lower because we all know that you only have $90 or less in materials if you use stainless weld-els in that manifold. If it only takes him and hour and a half to finish it like you say it does then you should be able to cut the price down much lower.

I'm not paying joe shmoe what I'm paying Corky, even if I needed an off the shelf Mani...
Therefore, $200 sounds very reasonable, you will sell shitton of them, and if they are not of excelent grade, people won't mind as long as they don't crack. You can make that mani for less than $200, even if you use 1.5" pipes vs. 1.25"

200's too low, in my opinion. honestly, the demand for these isn't that big, so the margin on them has to be high enough for him to give a **** about making them for people.
yeah, he can make them for less than 200. probably like 100 in materials. plus his time, plus packaging materials, plus cost of maintaining equipment to produce them, plus time to support people who bought them and deal with their bullshit, etc... 300 is probably closer to the g-spot i mentioned before.

While getting some parts off the parts organized to ship I had an idea about the cost of these things.
For $200 I think I'd feel almost like I was robbing the dude. At $500 I'll pay BEGI.
If you're serious about making and selling these, consider a group buy price nearer Zabac's suggestion. Then once the products have had a chance to prove themselves durability-wise come up with something rather closer to the $500 mark.
Your being a great sport so far about people busting your ***** on the price, btw. Kudos for that.

damn cheap bitches around here. 200 i would not even consider making one. it would be waste of my time. materials alone are gonna be over 130$ and to break a sweat for 70$ is not worth it. i rather site there and beat my meat than build a mani for 70$ profit. what the hell. now days 200 bucks will not even get you a decent lay.

Ok i wouldn't mind selling these for 200 dollars, but you have to have in mind the price of the material and labor and warranty of this item. He is a professional fabricator and knows what he's doing, and for me to tell him to sell those for 200 he would just laugh at my face, the parts alone cost me around 150.. before i decided to have him make me one i had called other places and were charging me double the price for example i called mazworks and they were charging me 1300 to make me one...that's rediculouse
i know you guys want it prove it self in strength and performance but you can't expect it to be that cheap..and of course he will have a warranty on it these manifolds can be how you want them and there only 500, doesn't matter if its with internal or external, relief cut's whatever there 500 and if you don't like them i'll see if he can come up with some kind of return policy
what do you guys think
also if please if you have any ideas just let me know i'm doing this for you guys i'm a cheap guy aswell
