IAT bung
All right, trying to get my intercooler piping run and realized I'm going to need a IAT bung somewhere.
So my question is: Where can I get some piping with a bung for my IAT?
Orrrrr who wants to weld me up one

I just ordered one of these from silicone intakes:

These lightweight Stainless Steel Joiners are designed to install in your intake, giving you the ability to install three 1/8"-27 NPT probes for intake temperature, boost, or other gauges, or water injection nozzles without any dangerous drilling in your intake.
Stainless Steel Joiners add a high degree of flexibility to any installation, allowing you to make any number of pieces, or your entire intake, out of silicone. They have a lip on each end to prevent hoses from blowing off, and utilizing our high quality t-bolt clamps they can be used in very high boost applications. T-bolt clamps and silicone parts sold separately.
Lip on edge to hold silicone parts
Will not rust or corrode
Will not collapse under extreme clamping pressure
$10.

Learn to weld?
I have never ever run into a situation where knowing how to weld was a bad thing. I have a cheapo Lincoln flux core welder I picked up at Lowes. It makes ugly welds, but with good cleaning I can produce air tight welds without too much trouble. Just takes a little practice. I prefer the TIG at work, but hell, bird crap welds will do in a pinch.

EDIT:
just realized those are 1/8"-27 npt. Didn't look at what the autozone one is but I imagine the same. I just tapped my intercooler tank end, used the 3/8 tap I used for tapping the oil pan.

I was wondering if this will work. At the moment I actually don't have an iat lol, somewhere in transporting my turbo project stockpile to the garage I installed it in it got lost. I drilled and tapped my tank but figured out my iat was MIA so I installed a 3/8" boost source for my waste gate. Well anyways, when I find/buy a new iat I'll need another 3/8" hole somewhere post intercooler. My intercoolers pretty small so I'm hesitant about drilling another one in the endtank. I was hoping I'd be able to drill/tap the ic piping. Probabbly still jb weld the **** out of it though after I install it.

Apartment living. That's a tough one.
For aluminum, you can attach with HTS-2000 rods and MAPP gas. Pretty simple and quick, although you need to be careful with the heat and not melt the aluminum tubing. I've got some examples (both good and bad) on my build thread.
Really, nothing wrong with JB Weld as long as you rough up the pipe, keep everything clean and allow ample cure time. Make sure the JB Weld joint isn't exposed to anything above ~250°F. Not a problem for IAT because you want that on the cold side anyway and you want to locate the IAT where it won't heat soak.
Another option, friend with a welder and some space? Where are you located. Surely, there's an MT.net'r nearby.
