Hey Guys,

As you can tell I'm a little new around here and had a question regarding putting a turbo into my MK1 1.6 (BHP).

Like i said I'm a beginner when it comes to this and don't know very much about it, If i was to use a Garrett T25 along with a megasquirt ECU, with the rest being stock, what kind of power would i be looking at and what would be the most power i could get out of the stock internals?

Thanks in advance!

This sounds like a bad idea. A stock v8 would be a better idea.

There was that full electric motor kit floating around a while back. 130 hp and like 200 laptop batteries.

Not cool.

Read the DIY FAQ thread before going further.

OP comes to website dedicated to boosting Miatas, gets told to go to YouTube for advice.

Come on Troy, this post is arguably disrespectful to everyone that participates on this forum.

I have witnessed about 15-16 lbs or 1 bar of boost on a daily driven NA with a stock motor.

without getting bigger injectors i would guess 150-160 WHP before you max out stock injectors. probably around 6-7lbs of boost.

spend an extra $300 on flowforce ev14 injectors and make 200whp.

How many days did it last? How much power was it making? Must have had zero timing.

15-16lbs on a 2554 15-16lbs on a 2871 or EFR. Talking about psi without any actual quantifiers is pretty useless.
