That's what I've got right now. Pretty sure it's not up to the task of 300+ tq from this turbo.

My worry is horsepower - I'll have to dyno it asap. The 4828 is good for up to ~400 rwhp, although unknown as to what the max is on a BP engine.
I've got the 2560 now (still waiting on built motor to arrive), so this sounds great. Nice spool, good top-end. Booyah!

Well there's always this one, its not terribly expensive. I talked to Brian goodwin before I bought it, and on their test car they are putting more than 300 ftlbs through it and it was holding the last time I knew. When bleeding the clutch I found the pedal weighting to be just a bit more than stock, though it was a while between the last time I felt stock miata and when I bled it, its WAY lighter than the stock wrx clutch. I havent driven the car yet so I cant speak about engagement, but its supposed to be like stock.

The FM2 clutch is rated for like 353 ft/lbs. You will not break it unless you are doing something wrong.

Ah, I see. Mine's an older stage 2 with the act hd pressure plate/organic clutch. I think that's rated to about 230ftlbs. Much heavier pedal feel than stock.

well that's not an FM stage II clutch then is it, it's a ACT XT that FM coupled with a flywheel and called a stage 2 "happy meal" package.

Yeah, something like that. I ASSuMEd the new clutch set up would have been similar.

Someone needs to sell a miata turbo kit that includes this turbo and a cast manifold.

Arent the dimentions more or less the same as a smaller garrett? IE shouldnt it work perfectly in an FM, BEGI, or ARTECH setup minus the turbo?
