What a successful day! Car started right up without a hitch. 305cc injectors idle like stock. Time the call the dyno.

Funny thing here is I just flipped my existing intercooler pipe to fit

question, how come you don't mount your AFM to point the air filtter towards your NADA(sp) scoop.

the NACA duct lets in enough air to keep that side cool. It would be ideal to mount the filter the but would require complicated piping.

Hey braineack,

Where did you get your NACA duct? I've been looking for either a CF or black plastic one.

Thanks,
Ike

Sorry for the off topic question.

are you happy with the NACA duct? I was thinking about TSI's or the NACA duct...or both to keep temps down

I had a DIY TSI before and I liked it, but I didn't like look compared to the naca duct. I still have the tsi and plan on swapping it in new weekend when im on the track.

Ike, I bought it here , http://www.mckinneycorp.com/ , I got the 4" one and had to cut it a little shorter to fit.

Instructions here: http://www.revlimiter.net/mods/duct_install.html

Cool thanks...I'll give them a call. I was thinking of doing this or putting some reverse louvers in the lid. I haven't decided yet. The NACA duct looks very sweet.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I was finally able to take the car out for a spin. Definatly more power! Not as slugish in low rpms and it feels like it pulls harder toward redline.

I'm getting my exhaust worked on Friday morning (angles are off) and then dyno tuning it. Then packing up and heading out to the track for the weekend.

This time I'm bringing my PS2 and a projector and playing video games all night off the side of a trailer!

Hijack in progress:
Braineak... I've almost decided that I'm going to duplicate your setup for my car. I was thinking about seeing what you were doing this weekend and driving up to see your car. But it looks like you have other plans. What track are you headed to and how do I get a pit pass?

Summit Point in WV, around 45min-1hr west of me. If you wanted to make the drive up anyways this gives you a good excuse to bring the camera and watch the show! Free admission to spectate. I'll be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
