Default RX7 Injector question.

Hey guys, I bought these remanufactured from someone on another forum I use. I had a question about the nozzles. he sent me 2 primary and 2 secondarys out of a TII. Will I have any problem with that? And yes I know im missing a seal on one, but I have replacements

wtf?

do the part numbers on all four end in "-2020"?

does the pintle tip protrude from the pintle cap on all four?

to me it looks like the ones on the left have the wrong caps on them, maybe its just me...

Weird. If it's just the pintle caps it shouldn't matter much, but I don't know whether it is or not. I'm no help..

But when you send them for servicing things like seals and pintle caps can be replaced anyway.

if they are the wrong pintle caps you will need to replace with the right ones, or your spray pattern will be FUBAR

IIRC, primaries have different flow rates than the secondarys. If they are, you'll never be able to get a good tune. They should all be the same for a 4 cylinder.Make sure the impedance is correct also.Check the part numbers.

Anyway, I think I figured it out....I think the part number or somthing was changed or replaced with somthing else whenever he got them rebuilt or somthing....These are obviously rx7 injectors. They came out of a tII, so promaries and secondaries are the same, just different tips, which I think I can just change them out with my miata ones?

According to the bible they should all end in 2020.

I don't believe they should have different part numbers between them. Your checking the part number casted into the plastic right?

My 460cc were all 2010's and looked the same. Granted they weren't from a turbo RX-7, but I think yours are the same deal you know.

well the guy assures me they are TII injectors, they were just restamped when they were rebuilt, he swears they will work, so I believe em. They gotta be restamped, they look like rx7 injectors, purple top and all, and the lettering is somewhat new on it, and since no rx7 injectors end with the number I said it was, its gotta be the right ones.

I would send them out and get them checked and tested. Other wise you will be chasing fuel issues forever if they are not matching injectors. You say the numbers on the injectors match nothing on the list. That should be a huge warning to at least have them serviced and tested before proceeding.
