Not sure if this has been brought up here before or not but it looks nice!

what i dont understand is that it opens as he blips the throttle....form what i can tell, and why i think it reacts "so fast," is that if the thing is open when WOT obviously it's going to blow off faster....however, wouldn't you leak boost pressure also? Mine closes tight when i blip the throttle and releases just as fast as when i let off.
dunno i dont have surge on throttle blip more pronounced on 10+ psi quick off the gas. But this might be for me if i can find one cheap enough who makes a cheap good one? the one posted is 200+$
Didn't watch it all the way through but it looks like the valve is always open under vacuum. Sure it works great on a MAP based car...
Really like the comparison to a Tial that probably has the stiffest vac spring possible in it... if they had the correct spring in the Tial it would open without any assist from the pressurized air in the charge pipe. I detest that sort of marketing.

My tial is sealed tight until vac is applied. It has a 12lb spring in it and I have never seen it leak or anything like that. It snaps right open under nearly all boost levels. When at a stop I can operate the throttle by hand like that guy and see it move a little.
I just went out and fooled around with mine...I trust mine opens and closes just as rapidly. I know Synchronic's thing is eliminating the diaphram, however, is it really that big of a deal?
It looks to be open at idle... when they have the tissue paper in front of the valve you can see the valve suck it in.
My take is they are using questionable comparisons to manufacture a demand for a problem that doesn't exist.

I think it was only open in the video as a demo to see how fast it is. Normaly it would be recrc. From what ive heard they are releasing a anti-stall sometime this month. It is pricey at over 200, but i did payed more then that for my Greddy RS after the recerc adapter and mounting flange.
So the air that goes out of the syncronic bov has to push a diaprhragm to open the check valve, right?
It's seem to me that make much more sense if you recirculate it, otherwise you still have a diaphragm blocking the air and slowing the flow...
