i have a feeling he is right the welds dont look to bad on my megan racing stuff thick flanges but thin walled material if the material fails then is has to be on constant stress of supporting the heavy turbo and exhaust under g forces of driving and the heat cycling. mine is supported and has a flex seciton so we shall see how much mileage i can get out of it.
