You can still pick up the manifold for $299 for now which is a steal if you just want to build your own DP.

Yes, I'm trying to hit 180-190 without a piggyback. It should be easy, when I was on the dyno I was runnign with a cracked manifold. I'm adding a little extra fuel and will be on the new BEGi manfiold and DP when I take it back for some more tuning. With an e-manage I'd run it to 12-15psi and hope to make as much power as possible, but that will wait until I get a new rear-end.

I dont have a piggyback either and I would hope Im over 200whp.

Hey, my old setup hit 189rwhp with just a begi afpr + pierburg + 1.8 injectors with lots of room to improve the tuning so I wouldn't be surprised if you were over 200.

Edit: I take it back, I'm sure you're over 200 if that signature 1/4 mile time is from the same car. Wow!

Yeah that run was on my 1.9L, I might be the fastest miata w/o any kind of piggyback I was running 16psi on that run, the car just takes off after 4k with this turbo. I am always around 11.5-10.5 AFR's throughout the entire powerband and my timing is conservative.

Also worth noting, I hit 217whp and 227ft/lb with a 1.6L Greddy setup many years ago. That was on 15psi ( high torque ) tapering off to about 12psi by redline ( damn greddy wastegate )

ok last request...... i think??? Can any one give me a list of exacly what i will need to get the car running with a E-manage? Such as what injectors, what exactly i will need to mount the turbo. Any little secrets you think some one who has never done this before would need to know. anything to have a full functional t3 system. ..... um feel free to be as long winded as possible.

The T3 Turbo
MBC (set at 7-8psi)
Manifold
Intercooler
Downpipe
Blow Off Valve
Fuel Pressure Riser (apfr, fmu, etc.)
1.8L injectors (230cc from 200cc 1.6L injectors)
Rx7 AFM (optional, but good to have none-the-less)
Bipes ACU (for timing)
Bruce's O2 Clamp
DIY Dual Feed Fuel Rail
Fuel Pump (190 lb/h HP or Pierburg)

This is all I have running to about 170hp (with the stock pump). The Emanage will let you adjust your own fueling and timing and you can run larger injectors. It's not absolutely necessary but you'll only be able to boost to a certain extent without some sort of piggyback or stand alone. I'm saving that for when I upgrade the rear-end, the 1.6 diff. is a 6" and is know to be relatively weak, once I have I new rear-end I'll be upgrading to emanage and running to about 12-15psi.

For Emanage:
WBO2 (LC-1)
various sensors and harnesses and wizardry
autotune
330cc injectors

Saying that you can hit 200 RWHP without a piggy back is only half the story!
ITS WHAT HAPPENS FROM 2000 RPM-6500 THAT REALLY COUNTS!. and a piggy back such as the E manage can smooth out the fuel and timing to really fatten up that torque curve. The miata fuel curve is a shocker and adding an afpr makes it even worse..For example leaning the afr from 11:1 to 12:1 at 5000 rpm gained me 7 RWHP along with two degrees more advance....thats a heap of free horesepower that wouldnt have been possible without a E manage.

that is why we tweak our maf springs lean to a point just like emanage granted it isn't as percise but it is cheaper.
