Thinking narrower rad for air intake path ?
Sorry guys I did some searching but I'm confused ...
Current pipe curves out of the turbo to the front driver's side corner to a cone filter.
If I get a narrower radiator I should be able to extend the pipe somewhat forward behind the mouth.
I know people are using smaller radiators for other reasons.
What radiator can I use ?
Can the stock fans still be used ?
Thanks,
Poobs

Interesting idea. Is the AC gone? I would go to the junk yard with a tape measure and a notebook/camera to record dimensions. If you find a rad that works then it will have a fan on it, or just find one you like and use it.
I'd tell you to yank the AC but I see you are in FL. I see really narrow Civic radiators on other cars, so maybe look for a thicker aftermarket version so you can regain some lost area with added depth. Just make sure it's ducted well.
Yeah, I think he's asking for the filter only, he hasn't mentioned intercooler piping at all.
If you think its a good idea to do all this work and sacrifice cooling capacity for a CAI, yeah, not worth it.

Ok, I'm bailing...
The above reasons are compelling.
I would like to reroute the piping to the turbo but not reroute the IC, move or angle the radiator etc.
Thank you all for your advice. It looked like a good project at the time.
