I'm in the final stages of my turbo build (EFR 6758, 17-18 psi boost). A couple of questions arose:

1. is it ok to use normal silicone signal lines when running that much boost? Or will they burst? According to the seller the lines are rated for 1 bar.
2. do I have to use safety wire/cable ties on all signal line barbs to keep the lines from popping off?
3. EFR specific: I'm using the integral BOV. Can I run the BOV signal line from the un-used cruise control barb after the TB? I know it sucks for the MAP signal, but will it suffice for the BOV?

Yes for cruise source to BOV.

I would secure the lines somehow. And use lines rated for the pressure I would run.

1. Yes, try to get some more stout ones, though they will probably be fine.
2. Zip ties are a great option. I have also tried that indian head shellac. Learned that from some rotary guys. It holds great. Removing it is a pain in the ***.
3. It should work just fine.

Little zip ties are great for little lines. Secure all lines for reduced surprises.
