I've had good luck with e-bay FMIC, piping and downpipe and yeah go with silicon intakes for your couplers

OK, got a CXRacing IC + piping on ebay (and 2 more silicone couplers, 2" to 2.5" elbow for the mini turbo and a 2.25" to 3" elbow for the intake).

I actually have a complete 1.8 turbo kit for sale if interested. It comes with everything you need to have a reliable turbocharged Miata. I pulled it off my '95 M-Edition to sell. Let me know.
