im gonna be finishing my stripes sometime soon and if i might go with slightly lighter red color for them. if i do, ill color-match that grill to stripes

 

Is it just me, or does having coolant lines draped over the turbine housing seem like a bad idea?

its fine - it doesnt make a huge difference. as long as they dont touch - its all good in my opinion.

You're looking at a gt28r or larger turbo. At 14psi, you are moving past this turbo's efficiency range. This past summer I dyno'ed my gt2554r and hit ~210hp at 11psi. I used FM's base Link maps and made minor adjustments. I'm pretty sure I could have it 230hp at 12-13psi if I knew what I was doing. Either way, any miata with 200+ hp is a blast to drive.

 

i guess ill settle for 12-13psi and call it done

 

i think given a bigger DP you could hit 230-240, without the WI with the WI and some agressive timming i think 250 is acheivable. Given the size of your IC i would start sprating at 8-10 psi what size nozzle do you have?

Race gas or 50/50 water/meth buys you a lot over just boost (and just WI). You could hit 250 with your turbo at about 16 psi as magna said and you'll be able to run a good amount more timing.

With a 2" downpipe I tend to agree... 180whp sounds about right.
