Default Turbo water lines with a reroute installed

Hi,

We're looking to add a Turbo to our 1.6 NA engine, which is in a Roadrunner SR2 kitcar. The car already has a coolant reroute fitted, which blanks off water flow at the front of the cylinder head.

I can get one source of water from the water mixer, as you do, but my question is:

Where would you recommend I got the other source/return from?

Here's what we have:

Here's an idea running through my mind:

^This returns hot turbo water into the main hose to the radiator at the back of the head, which I believe is the hot water returning to the rad. And could be plumbed in using this:

Its also removed the Throttle body feed - do we need that? It's a non road legal track car by the way.

A photo if it helps

Or what should we do instead?

Any thoughts very welcome

What you have sketched will work fine.

Consider a catch can in lieu of the little filter, because the filter will start dropping drops of oil on your exhaust manifold (Unless you have some sort of very special baffling in your valve cover).

Thank you. We’ll go with that then. Probably make SS hard lines to the turbo.

We will sort a catch can out too. One job at a time..

I currently have mine off the throttle body feed. That feed is just to keep the TB from icing if conditions are just right. Not needed on a track car.
