Which WBO2
Hey guys,
I'm going to be running a Link ECU Mk2.
I'm sourcing for a Wideband O2 sensor to tap into the Link and I have this question:
Should I opt for a Innovate LC1 WBO2 (with no display) 199
Or would it make more sense to go for an AEM Uego with display for around 280?
Any difference in the 2?

aem uego is designed to work with the link.and theres insrtuctions on fm site to wire it in...widopentuning can get you a wideband as well
plus if you install your link ecu you will have a ecu wire that gets removed from your ecu and gets taped over.you can cut it off and crimp it to the wideband wire and plug it in.

Recalibration is a good thing. As the sensor gets old you can compensate for it. Also there is probably some variation in the sensors themself.
It's not like you have to do a lot to calibrate the thing anyway. Remove the sensor from the exhaust and ground the calibration wire. Or you could wait a couple of days for the gas to disipate from the exhuast.
I'm sure the AEM is a find unit too.

Not if installed properly.
Typically installed 18" or more from the Head or Turbo.
Installed Vertically or as close as possible. ( I found this important... I had one horizontal to the ground and killed 2 sensors quite quickly. I rewelded a bung vertically and have been on the same sensor for 20k now.)
Bosch sensors for the Innovate stuff (unsure what AEM/NGK/FJO/Zeit/PLX etc... use) cost like 50bucks from www.1stvwparts.com

AFAIK the Link only has one sensor input. Many of us however who are using piggybacks use two sensors. I have the NB sensor connected the the OEM ECU, and the WB connected to the EMU.
