What is the highest boost you guys have run on your stock injectors? List turbo size and fuel management when replying please.

I ran a 2560 at 8psi on stock injectors. Maxing out at 155% DC, woo-hoo.

EDIT: I'm sorry, I spiked at 11psi once and hit 225% DC. With the log to prove it.

A friend of mine had a 92 miata, Greddy kit with the fuel riser, FMIC intercooler, and a greddy e-manage. He got up to 9psi. Can't remember the HP but I think he hit 178ish.

I assume you were able to maintain proper AFR at 8 psi on your 2560, but at 11 psi I'm thinking you went a tad lean!

Un-F'n-believeable! That's pretty awesome!
My reasoning for this thread was simply because when I run my car on stock injectors, it runs pretty smooth. When I run the 460's it runs smooth most of the time, then sometimes not. I even tried a brand new set of 460's. I just feel they're unnecessary for what my car needs are. I drive it as a daily driver in nice weather, and I really don't need to see over 10 psi, so why use 460's if I really can get away with stock injectors? It ain't like I'm running a voo-doo box, I use MS2 Standalone.

On factory fuel pressure and pump, I ran 8 psi, I think I was at 130% DC.

Raise the pressure with stock injectors and you should be good to go, depending on power levels.

I'm guessing that on my setup 10psi would be right around 200whp.

15g, vortec rrfpr, 190HP fuel pump, megasquirt, 12psi.

I didn't run it like this for long before getting 550's.

There's always rx8 yellow injectors, oughta atomize even better than stock injectors.

They are either locked open or not. anything above 90% or so is completely open.

I maxed my 305cc injectors at 7psi, which was around 170rwhp.

460s and 550s don't idle well. Shitty injectors but ok for cheapo projects.

Sr20DET T25, Walbro 190lphHP, Bipes, O2Clamp, stock 1.6litre motor, 110psi fuel pressure, reman'd tan-tops... 14psi and just fine until I got 305's. Right around 200whp.

Is that a blanket condemnation of all injectors rated at 460 or 550cc, or did you have a bad experience with one particular brand or style of them?

I ask only because I didn't find the 465cc injectors which I got from Five-O to be particularly shitty, and the car idled well enough with them on to pass a CA smog inspection.

I gave him the benefit of doubt and assumed he was talking about these injectors on a stock computer with an "adjusted" AFM.

I'd also like to know as I bought some low impedance EVO 550s hearing they were much better. I got the individual injector driver board for my MS2 for them, too.

I maxed out my red tops with stock fuel pressure and about 7-8 psi seeing low 12 afrs.

I'm running cleaned and flowed 1.6 injectors with diypnp at 7psi (8.5 spike). IIRC, when they were cleaned they were flowing 230cc, even though they are rated at 212cc
