Default what other fuel pumps????

So what are some other alternatives to higher flow fuel pumps besides the Walbro? I wouldn't even know what brand to look for.

Ya, I have never heard ANYTHING bad about Walbro. I know Jackson Racing makes one:

And Venom makes one:

After doing both a Pierburg inline install and Walbro drop-in, there's no way I'd do the Pierburg again. 30min vs. 1-2hr.

Oh, I didn't really have good OR bad opinions about the Walbro... In my quest to do complete research, I just wanted to know who else made drop-in fuel pumps for the Miata. What alternatives were there? Were there any cheaper? you know... things like that.

for the price/benefits of a Walbro & ease of installation, I don't think it can be beat. We're talking around $80 plus shipping here.

The Jackson one I unintalled for someone wasn't even a High Pressure model. Just an FYI.

I've read using the OEM RX7 fuel pump works too, I believe I saw this on the m.net forums. Maybe someone can confirm this?

I think the '93 up Supra pump is an upgrade and pretty much drop in.

The problem with just taking a random pump form another car and running it is that you have no idea what the output of the unit it. Typically most OEM pumps are 155lph. If you're looking to run a FMU setup, then you need something that can flow at higher psi levels.
