What's a better coolant supply/return config?
I'm trying to figure out what I am going to do with my coolant lines going to/from the turbo. I have acquired a used Begi S3 kit and I'm not sure what I should do with the coolant setup. It came with this:
With that, I can take the coolant from the thermostat housing, and return it to this barb. Great. But what do I do with the heater hose that's supposed to go to the mixing manifold? In their instructions, it says run the heater hose to a T in the upper radiator hose (i think they call this their "racer reroute") and if you don't want to run that, where would you return the heater line to? They don't seem to specify.
I like FM's/common standard to use the water line from the t-stat, and the nipple on the mixing mani, but then the heater hose stays in place and wont allow for the nice turbine housing heat shield...
and there everything is kinda bunched together where the comp outlet pipe/ps line/lower rad hose is:
What do you think?

My heater core outlet to mixing manifold line runs outside the heat shield and under the master cylinder. Then it comes along the top of the frame rail before turning back toward the mixing manifold in front of and below the turbo.

I plan on doing the kia neck reroute, that's why I'm not going to T in to the upper rad hose like begi suggests, and how Girz has it.
Brain, that's what I was initially thinking too, but the heater line is still in the way of the heat shield.
six, did you just leave the mixing mani in place and cut off part of the metal heater pipe and run a rubber heater hose to it?
