I like the gauge that comes with the AEM and for the price it's exactly what I just spent on a lc-1 and autometer narrowband gauge. I wasn't sure of the datalogging capabilities and if the customer service is as good as innovative so I went that route.

I have the LC-1 as well and like it alot. As long as I can get it to work with the emanage alpha tool, I'll be very happy. I've only heard good things about the calibration as I think it may be one of the few WB (if not the only one) that does this. The NB sim is very useful as well.
BUT, I must admit that the Zeitronix unit is very nice for tuning as it has inputs for EGT, boost sensor, and one user input so you can map everything against rpm. The way I've seen it used it a fuel pressure sensor mapped to the user input so on one screen/log, you can see AFR, EGT, boost, and fuel pressure all mapped vs. rpm in a very nice graphical display. It looks very nice as a tuning tool. Again, I don't own one, but they also added a new alarm add-on that is programmable to alert you if one variable has crossed a threshold value that you set so say if you set the egt alarm to 1600, it'll light up a red led and make a alert sound so you don't always have to be looking at the readout.

I like the Zeitronix, but not as much as I did originally. The logging is real nice, but a few things cropped up along the way.
1. Their simulated NB is not true to a narrowband in that it doesn't go to the extreme ends of the scale(where I would use it for Autotune).
2. The EGT probe is a cheapy, and when I wanted to replace it when it died after one year, they wanted to sell me the whole harness. Got another, better, for half price on Ebay.

I have a question, on another forum i am on a guy is selling this:
This is the Innovate LC-1/LM-1 Turbo 1.8 VW Beetle 5-wire WB O2 sensor.
...brand new in the box, never opened, $55 shipped.
And I have an autometer NB A/F guage. Can I use this to have the A/F readout on the NB guage (i know it will not have the digital numbers) and then be able to hook it up to my laptop to check the other stuf, or how does it work? basically since he is selling that, what else will I need and will it work. or should I just buy the AEM one

He's only selling the WBo2, not the lamba cable. But you can use the Lamba cable, which reads the WBo2, and output to a NB guage. Exactly what I'm doing.

buy the innovation lamba cable for $189 shipped and output it into your exsisting guage. Saves you money. Unless you really want an lcd readout of the a/f. But hen you go output to a $9 LCD panel.
Speaking of, mine just arrived after I finished typing that!

The LC-1 just has a wire that taps into the NB signal wire of the gauge. Then with your handy dandy computer software. You set what the voltage output needs to be....they have all the popular gauges listed on the site. That's it! Your NB gauge will now display your WB output!
Now to figure out how to run the wires.
