Default Where to get welding supplies?

Anyone have a good source online for welding supplies? I'd go to airgas but they close at 4pm. What about other stores between DC and Reston?

I need some 308 mig wire, some 309 mig wire, some mild steel wire, and maybe a cart.

Thanks.

I use my local welding supply via phone book, same place I pick up my argon bottles. There should be a few in your area.

Everything is in Fairfax and Manassas. Reston, Falls Church, Mclean is too upscale for welding shops.

Try these guys:
Lincoln Electric Co
470 Springpark pl, Herndon, VA
(703) 904-7735

if you take 66 home you could get off on nutley and try these guys:
Roberts Oxygen Co
2929 Eskridge Rd # A, Fairfax, VA
(703) 698-5322

not sure if they have what you need, but a phone call dont hurt.

thanks. I just ordered the crap at welding depot. I don't have time to drive all over during the day. home deep doesn't carry stainless wire.

I can build a cart.... but I'm busy welding car parts.

dude, why would I spend any time when I can pick up a cart for under 50 bucks?

I'm coming to the same conclusion, especially with deals like this.

Because Its faster and cheaper than ordering one and waiting for it to show up. But whatever to each their own.

maybe if I had the raw material sitting around. but I run into the same problem as not having time to find welding supplies there. scrap yards are even more rare.

harbor freight for $39.99, northern tool for $49.99. I'm cool with it taking a week. I probably wouldn't have time in 3.
