115 traps nice definitely picked up some power

 

No no still 114, not sure what's up with the pics, I uploaded better than that. The competition was 116. But the red mustang I race dials the same time and is always 5-10mph slower than me, he has a nice 60'. He used to beat me, now I feel him in.

 

The mustang I beat for 1st place last year was there. He said he hates the headwind here but hates the track prep there(Sac.) Either spin 1/2 way down the track, or fight a crazy headwind. I smoke him.

 

 

That's an accurate statement. The only time they do proper prep is when there's a major event, and on those days good luck getting more than 1-2 runs. oh well

Also, something is wrong with my car again, smoking a ton at idle. Maybe the turbo is toast, I remember Vlad saying they last week's at 30psi. I will have a look in the next few days. Might be time to try the .63 a/r turbine side, saw one for 175 we'll see.

My buddy didn't have time to swap his usual tires on today so I was able to keep up better.

 

Well, the .48 A/R turbine housing is definitely a restriction. They got my number wrong on the first elimination round but the nice lady saw my dial in time and got me the right slip.

Yep! The guys were trippin' at the track. The crazy Holden SS trapped 123 but was slower than me in the 1/8, I wonder why?

Annnnd... My long awaited, Costco stuffed pepper pan heat shield. Basically just covers up a bunch of jagged edges, so you guys don't give me **** about it.

You can almost see my super hooptie ignition band aid, it's so bad, I know no one will approve. I thought for sure the thing would misfire away with that **** on there, but I didn't have a single misfire tonight, it was hot though. Oh yeah and practically a Gale force headwind all evening.

 

Maybe I could squeeze out a 12.6 with a decent launch best I can seem to do is 112 on the **** of 91 different camels. Oh well, I sure hope they fix the Berkeley e85 pump soon, or get a freaking pump in Marin or at the track for frigs sake.
