Ok, so maybe the 4 puck was a little too much. Me go mmmm, car go mmmm... 4th gear go PACK! My opponent had gone red, so I was a semi-finalist even though I didn't cross the finish line.
I had a blast and was able to limp home. Got a good video of 4th exploding, man that was noisy.
So I think I will go with the SM organic disc again.
Anyway, I got the semi-final medal. Also got my Team Sonoma gear even though I wasn't able to make it to the division final, hopefully next year.
Had a blast last night! Took 2nd place to my friend Rachel in the K24 powered spoon civic. Confirmed that she is revving that thing to 8500 with a K20 oil pump, so no balance system. Also confirmed that my friend Coleman, runs his boosted K24 powered 8 second MR2 at 10,000 RPM, also with the K20 pump. Those guys said that the balance shaft pump has a problem maintaining pressure above 8000 or something like that.
I turned my boost down to about 19 or 20#'s and decided to slap a crappy organic disc in there instead of the nice new SM one, I want to see if it delams. Besides it was never going to get used otherwise, was starting to get rusty.
My first elimination round was with a popular local YouTube personality. He wanted to go home so he dialed the same as me, basically gave me a bye run, he was super nice.
The final round was very close, if I had let off 8 thou earlier, I would have won.
Come on Ed, you know I have no idea who anyone famous is. I probably should have said locally popular, since lots of folks seem to know him out there. Jason Comissa or something like that, probably butchered the spelling of his name. Sorry man! He is a nice guy, and fun to hang out with. Had an old Ferrari last time, and I first met him in a little Honda Jazz or Beat or something, it was a neat little car.

Hey! Are you making it out to the first Wednesday Night Drags of the year? I won't be in my Miata as it is still n/a but I'll be taking the 340i.
Unless something unforseen happens I will be there. Most likely gear jammers will be lanes 10 & 11, but I haven't seen the lane assignments yet, I will be near the front of the line.

Nice to meet you. Aldo, did I get your name right? Told you I would have to ask again.
We had a fun night. Only eighth mile because of the cold. I changed my damping to 6 clicks from full soft for pothole comfort and decided to see how that works on launch. At first I thought I needed to put them back at 9, but turned out I just needed a longer burnout for the cold, 1.8's again EZPZ.
I ended up a semi-finalist but they guy who has the medals forgot to bring them, so next time they owe me one
The car is running great, I am pleased. Also thanks to andyfloyd for teaching me that I could dwell my stock coils longer than I previously thought(YOU ARE MY SON.) Ditched the IGN1a's for stock coils and still went 7's without a misfire

Reason: messed up Andy's sig
I'll try to upload the two videos of your runs later today. It was nice meeting you and hopefully, I can bring my na8 to the strip once it is boosted. I'll be back in April for the next WND.

Ha ha ha!! Thanks guys! The thing is a hoot. I have it turned down at this point, trying to make it so it never gets quicker than 11.60 even with a stellar 60' in cold sea level conditions. If I can get it to run 11.70-11.80 all the time I can theoretically run "Sportsman," "ProET," and "SuperPro" for bracket races. This is my goal, obviously I want to do it on crappy street tires too. Fun to run it their faces that I don't even have real tires
