I dunno man, that torque curve on the old turbo is pretty nice ... looks like you had an extra 50ft/lbs of torque between 4k and 5k and more overall power across the board right up until 6k. Nice peak power though, that should get some good 1/4 mile times.

I think you'll be suprised once you throw some decent shocks on there. The N/A Mk2 has a pretty well documented history of dominating the NA chassis miata in stock class autocross. Once you start straying much farther than that as with anything, all bets are off.

oh more progress today put the spal fans, and put the ems sidemount blocker and cut a hole for airflow for rear just need hyde's old exhaust(traded pex) need single, and garage fukui air duct, iam finish ready for e85 next month in concord yeah.....and maybe a retune w/ricky with e85

some pics of block without pistons , engine is gotbuilt by hasselgren , cp stroker pistons,knife edge 5sfe crankshaft(castillo crankshaft)00 , 3sgte eagle rods,arp main studs,caldina short block(gen 4),apexi gen 3 head gasket 1.2mm ,caldina stock oil cooler,greddy oil cooler underneath mount car,acl thrust washer , king main bearings, clevite 3sgte rod bearings. new exhaust manifold with bar,new rear toe rods,front control arm pillow bushings.

went haltech p1000 with racepak.also tranny 4.5 final gear ratio.1200cc, aeromotive 340 fuel pump,gt35r ,2.2 stroker knife edge , 9:0 comp cp pistons,eagle rods,apexi hg 1.2mm , 268 gsc cams, greddy timing belt,kw coilovers,flat underbody, nt01 all fours , gram lights 57d 17x9 all four.all pillow bushings in suspension no bushings.lots of stuff to enter.

That is a really badass mr2 and setup you got going on.
Looks like it will be nasty.

Something I don't understand about the IC though, maybe you can clear it up for me:
Its routed through the trunk, and mounted on the floor of the trunk?????
So there's essentially no airflow going through it but air just being pushed to it? Also isn't there a hot *** exhaust directly underneath the floor board its mounted to?

Just seems inefficient as hell
