Hey Marcello, I basically had either a 35 or 36° increase in IAT for each of those pulls. So, not a ton of change, however the long pipe captures the blow by much better.

So like I said, she's much better a blowing a long pipe.

Managed to rub a bit more rust off

I think my ign1a's showed up at my PO box today too, this is a big deal.

Also check out this v6 Miata, it was running 12.5 but trapping 107. He definitely had stickier tires than me. First time I ever saw another 12 second Miata out there.

Nice sunset too

Enjoy, can't wait until next week.

I want to see your car race, dying to see it with the new 8.8, was just telling my friend in car 36. He runs an older mustang with an 8.8, he has a built motor and runs 100LL AV gas. That last race was a good race.

Sweet. I can't wait to get it done. Sadly I'm soon going to be waiting on parts, probably 2-3 weeks from being done just from waiting on stuff to arrive before I can finish.

I tell you what, it was totally worth the wait. The car feels better than ever before.

Had so many problems today. Hitting boost limit left and right, either that or spark blow out, take your pick. After that I lost my power steering belt, but it stayed in the engine compartment somehow, must not have tensioned it right. I will look at it tomorrow. I really need to get the coils working and my tire inadequacies became very apparent today. As it cooled off I couldn't even keep traction at the top of 2nd, I wonder if my gas was just too low. I need tires!
All that being said, I won.

I kept having to increase my dial in time as it cooled off and my tires spun more. This was the best time I have had so far.

Coils and tires.
We had a strong headwind all evening. The mustang who took 2nd said he's way faster at Sacramento, started talking about headwinds and Sears Point being uphill and all. It really is a notoriously slow 1/4 mile. I don't know about the uphill part but we do seem to always have a good headwind.

I used to be a pretty serious bracket racer. To say a Miata is not an ideal platform is an understatement!

Congrats!!

Thanks!
Tires will make a huge difference now but my tranny has become a bit grouchy. These guys asked me what I would run with better tires, I told them I probably wouldn't make it past the 60' mark.

I'm actually more excited to see you get spark under control and up the hp/trap speeds, which wouldn't even need a hard launch or breaking the trans.
