297whp, 272wtq, ~220kpa absolute. Boost curve is very solid. Peak of 17.5psi at 4000rpm, dips slightly to 17psi at 5900 before the controller drags it back up to 17.5psi at redline. It made ~275whp at 14psi so this is really all it wanted to do on pisswater CA91. I was fighting detonation in the spoolup range as low as 10psi. Advance is as low as 9 degrees through torque peak, rising to ~14deg at redline, so it really does not want to make more power than this. All in all, I'm happy with this at just 17.5psi on CA91, though. This is as far as I will go on pump gas. Next tank of fuel will be E85 and I will go back to get it dialed in, hopefully before MRLS.

New dyno spot for me, the owners say it is very comparable to a Dynojet and based on the BMEP figure (66.5tq/atm-L) I am inclined to believe them.

With E allowing you to add timing back in during spoolup, I bet you'll pick up a really healthy chunk of torque below peak.
And obviously everywhere else, but that part is a given.

are you relying on the oem knock sensor only or did you hook up cans too?

Lines up really close to my VVT+8.6+6758+Oregon 92. Couple degrees more timing, about 10 more hp at half a psi less.

Congrats. Will it be at MRLS?

OEM sensor. I break out each cylinder into its own line on the chart, which makes it pants-on-head easy to see detonation. If all the lines buzz along together, it's noise, but if one of them spikes, it's detonation. You can actually see the noise levels vary between cylinders based on sensor placement, since cyl2 and cyl3 are "noisier" than 1/4. With per-cylinder filtering on the MS3, I don't bother with mechanical det cans anymore. The computer has better ears than I do

But what if they all detonate together

I wish there was a way to do things like that for knock detection and timing pulling. Instead of a knock threshold, look for differences between cylinders, or past values.

Yay, I've been doing something right. Made a ton of changes to my spark map doing this.

Do you do baseline 'runs' in neutral to see what the no load noise factor is?

Nope. No need. The noise floor is very easy to set once you have a couple of no-detonation pulls logged. Just go 3-5% above the noise being generated on the noisiest cylinders (typically 2/3) and set the threshold there.

I'm just stoked that my motor is still alive... I was seeing spikes that went up to 58% in the midrange when I first started adjusting the map! I see things now in the low 20s at max.

Nicely done. Subscribed to see the E85 numbers... will the extra fuel initiate full boost a lot sooner? Not that it's having any trouble spooling.

I'm trying here... pretty damn hard

I've been following the definitive VVT SWAP thread Savington posted and already have the 1990-1993 USDM fuel pressure regulator for my VVT motor and have a local friend for the 99-00 rail

I'm guessing cause you're running that expensive Fuel Lab it enables you to use the BP6D Rail? Should i expect any issues with the route i'm going? (Obviously yours is better)

Also how many shims are you running in this engine? On the website i see you recommend one - boundary recommends 2
