Default Attempting AE/Overrun tuning and Elevation

Location: Denver, CO Approx 5,600 above sea level where my house is.

MSPNPpro3 - 99 NB. Intake, header, Innovate MTX-L wideband. Running on stock IAT. MAF is still installed but unplugged and turned off in MS. I do have a GM IAT that I will be installing once going boosted. Trying to get the tuning down before going turbo.

Im trying to dial in my AE/Overrun. I have had the MS in the car for about a week. Went through a few tunes and continually had issues from changing too many things.

Basically started over today with the base map that came with car. Am running open loop idle for now. The car idles great. No AC on car to worry about.

Adjusted VE table and AFR targets a bit and adjusted tables to better match Colorado baro pressure.

After a bit of auto tune driving with AE turned off the table was hitting my AFR targets fairly well.

Turned AE on and started trying to dial it in. I drive, my wife sits in the passenger seat and holds the laptop. She adjusts as I tell her and is learning how to dial things in for me as I drive also.

Attached is a small Megalog of highway driving with a few pulls through gears. I am not sure how to avoid some spikes/dips with AE. I know it is to be expected a certain ammount, but I am having touble keeping AFR's correct when hammering gears, but having it also work while cruising and then getting on throttle throughout different RPMS.

My overrun also doesn't seem to be shutting off at times when I feel it needs to? Car seems to come out of overrun when I am NOT touching the throttle and then has very loud pings etc while decelerating.

Generally the car seems to run decent, I tried a more advanced spark table at one point, but I got a bit nervous since I do not have det cans right now.

Am I even in the right ballpark here? Are my settings so jacked up that I'm going down the wrong path?

Any tips? Is therre anything special I need to do for higher Altitude? I have noticed that i have initial baro reading for pressure set. I auto tuned the other day from about 6500-8500ft elevation on some nice mountain highways and came back to 5280 and the car was lean. Re did the tune tonight all at lower elevation. How can I make it so car automatically adjusts once the base elevation tune is good? I know there is a stock baro sensor, just cant figure out how to properly get the input from it?

And yes, I have done so much reading I can NOT keep my head straight. I have spent about 5 hours a night reading for the last month and have spent 3 hours a night driving and trying stuff for the last week. I just feel like I'm not getting some of this stuff? Or maybe I just need to give it some time.

I know this is a lot, just hoping for a bit of direction.

I have some more logs and I will continue to update.

Default

Turn on barometric correction with 2 independent sensors
Set Overrun MAP threshhold 27kPa
turn on injector batt correction
tune VE then tune AE
