Do i need to run my coil on plug on switched power? running from my megasquirt and wondering if the 12v power need to be a switched power feed.

If you run it on always-on 12V, there's a possibility that the coil drivers will "phantom power" the ECU through the coil outputs, leading to unpredictable behaviour.

Additionally, the circuitry of the coil packs will drain your battery.
