Default hooking up wideband to megasquirt pnp aux port or factory harness???

Hi so Ive tried looking on a few other forums and haven't gotten a definant answer to my question so I figured I'd ask it my self. I have a 99 im trying to turbo. have all the parts but I want my wideband to talk to my mspnp first. I tried using tuner studio live on the n/a completely bone stock setup and it ran through the roof rich when I had it selected to read narrow band.(I still have my factory 02 hooked up) my mspnp has a separate set of pins that says I can set up different sensors and blah blah blah but some people have just tapped into factory harness where factory 02 runs? what do I do?

I suspect he means the ones on the MSPNP CD or on MegasquirtPNP.com.

Correct.

Read the directions for any and all of the equipment you intend to use.

These things are made to work together but there is usually only one way to make it happen.

It's under Section 2. You'll need to attach pin 14 of the DB15 connector on your megasquirt to the output wire on your wideband (white on AEM). Then you just select your wideband in Tunerstudio.

well I have read the instructions and it states I can either use pin 14 or tap to stock harness. which is why I was asking which was a better option. the wideband I have is a cobalt autometer. and its a little different then your average wideband. it has an extra wire that im not sure of. It has red for 12volt pwr, black for ground, brown going to my tps, then blue for signal out put and then blue with black stripe for signal ground. why would the gauge havetwo grounds
