10* is stock but 15* makes it more lively.

10 is where the timing will lock if you jump 10 to GND on your diagnostics port.

Advancing it to 15, just means your increasing the total advance 5 through the entire load/rpm table.

If peak timing on a 1.6L is 27 @ WOT, you'll now be hitting 32.
