The hardware is probably... whatever. I couldn't imagine buying either of these products in 2022 but it sounds like that ship sailed before this thread started. My issue with the Speedybro is that he's just a pile of **** as a person. It's rare-ified air that someone is so disgusting on a personal level that i'd write off ever giving them a cent no matter how good the product, but somehow the Miata community has managed to produce a few of these people.
Either way if that doesn't bother you go for it. I'm not going to really speak on the hardware side of things because this is the year 2022 and i purged 2010 information awhile ago.

Hardware-wise? One is on an arduino which is a much cheaper and lower-grade piece of hardware, which is why it's cheap. It's also got less development time and blah blah blah. This doesn't mean it's inferior, just that it's less vetted.

Just for ***** and giggles, I have a set of RC550 injectors and Hydra Nemesis 2.6 that might work if you can get the software loaded and running and learn how to tune with data logs as the fuel auto-tune unlock wasn't worth the trouble. Come spring I'll likely sell the injectors locally on Craigslist and recycle the Hydra.
Phil Grabow purchased Nemesis for their tech and had a company called Nemesis EMS but the webpage seems to be gone. A little more than a year ago I paid to upgrade to 2.7 that had better software and after mailing it he ghosted me. Seems he was the middle man and it was sent to an UPS store mailbox (his "repair and upgrade facility") to a person that worked for the old company building them. It was taking a long while and I finally got a response saying I could pay more to get it done, wait, or get a refund. He must have been too busy to refund and return because I ended up filing a dispute to get my money back. The only good thing I can say is that my car was in winter storage most of that time not being driven, and he finally did the right thing and had the hardware returned. I didn't heed the forum recommendations, seemed upgrading and tweaking my 2.6 tune was going to be easier.
I installed an MS3PNP Pro and Flow Force 640cc injectors. I still have a lot of tuning to finish this Spring but I was making progress in the few weeks before the snow started falling. This spring I might pay for some remote tuning help to get me closer to running reliably without stalling so often. Or take it to a local Subaru performance shop that has tuned a few turbo Miata. I need to get it running well enough that I can remove the diff to have 3.63 gears installed and test them to verify that it was adjusted properly without being stranded because of tuning deficiencies.
Let us know how your SpeedyEFI works out. I think that's what you bought after speed reading your two threads. I sincerely wish you luck but you're probably setting yourself up for extra labor and expense in the long run. Like they say...pay once, cry once and move on.

The guy behind speeduino, Josh Stewart, isn't in any of those photos. There are plenty of retards making "speedy" ecus that don't even know what a diode does, of course those are going to blow up. On top of that, if it works, it's pretty much the same as a megasquirt which we all know plenty of noobs can't make work, even with assistance.
Bunch of dumbass motehrfuckers in this thread that wouldn't know their *** from a hole in the ground. Like all things, gotta do your own research rather than listen to someone with zero skin in the game. To make it easy, I wouldn't run anything that didn't come from https://speeduino.com/shop/ as everything else is just some rando stealing firmware for their slight modified hardware.

Then you followed up with "yeah don't buy from anyone but this other guy."
Who is the dumbass ************ in this case, exactly? You dumbass non-reading ************.

I go off what was provided, and as no link was offered and "speedy" could mean a lot of things. Especially when you are involved, as it's clear you've got no real grasp on anything other than social media...
MS3 CPU and speeduino CPU were released within a year of each other, by the way. Plenty of 32 bit options, too, which have the potential to be miles above MS3 who's development has clearly stalled.
Let's not even talk about MS2, then. But that's sooo 2010, right?

Yeah. Could definitely mean a lot of things. On a scale of 0 to eggplant, how dumb are you, exactly?
I bet there were some Intel and AMD CPUs released the same year the Raspberry Pi 0 was, too. The **** does that have to do with anything?
Once again for those in the back: This is a thread about OP who bought a SpeedyEFI and made it very clear to anyone who could be bothered to read that he did so. He did so after getting feedback in multiple threads that it might not be a great idea. What is your point, my guy?

Funny, now dates aren't enough to qualify hardware? Super strange you used such as an argument point previously? Of course we get a ho-hum on actual hardware, because we all know how much you know on the topic.
Finally, this is a thread on a noob getting ripped off on desired aidz that then steered towards a standalone. I mean it's right there in text for you to see, or is that too literal for you? Strange.
Also, the horrible offensive evidence provided that speedyefi guy is an ******* is because he told someone to get studs? I member when that'd be considered tame here on the forum...
Tell me, where did the speedy touch you?
